Great Egret grooming plumes...with a seagull?

From what I have observed it is a bit unusual for this Great Egret and Herring Gull to be standing on a rock this close together. The gulls sort of tag along the egrets and when they get too close the egrets fly away.

Great Egret eats healthy with seaweed and fish

A low-tide at sunrise and a very calm and warm morning make good conditions for this Great Egret to have breakfast. Here we see the Great Egret eating a healthy diet of seaweed and fish. Its laser vision and long slender yellow bill are quite effective.
